Nestled into the rugged terrain of the Phoenix North Mountains in Arizona and about 20 minutes from the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a 584 all-suite resort property offering luxurious services and activities.

Resort Accommodations
The accommodations are spacious two-room suites with one king bed or two queens and promise a relaxing visit to the Valley of the Sun. Additionally, each suite offers a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room area. The suites offer the Hilton Serenity Bed & Bath™ collection and many more comforts. 

Resort Rate
The special Blackboard group rate for the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is $225.00 per room per night (single or double occupancy) plus applicable taxes (currently 12.27%, subject to change). The nightly rate includes complimentary guest room internet access and fitness center access. Resort Features
This mountainside Phoenix, Arizona retreat is home to The Falls Water Village, the perfect family fun center - a three-acre oasis of swimming pools, waterfalls, 138-foot waterslide, 23 private cabanas, restaurant pavilion and two hot plunge spas. Business Center/Internet Access
The Pointe Hilton offers a full service business center to service any of your "away from the office" business needs. It is located off the Resort Lobby and is open 24 hours a day. You can copy, fax, as well as access computer workstations. All workstations are equipped with high-speed Internet, and common Microsoft Applications. You’ll have a choice of fast black & white or full-color printing.
 
All guest rooms feature complimentary high speed internet access and remote web-based printing is available from your suite powered by PrinterOn. In addition, a Cyber Cafe will be available in the Convention Centre so that you may check your email while attending the conference.

Conference Attire
Attire for BbWorld® '09 sessions and special events will be business casual. Since meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely, it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. Also, evenings can be cool in the desert.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
The airport has three terminals – Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 – each with its own parking garage, shops, restaurants, and ground transportation. Sky Harbor’s easily accessible Rental Car Center houses all the airport rental car company counters and fleets. A multi-colored “Rental Car Shuttle” provides free transportation from the airport curb at the baggage claim level to the Rental Car Center, just west of Sky Harbor. There is convenient parking and a free shuttle system provides travel between the terminals. Moreover, there are 23 domestic and international airlines operating at Sky Harbor, the two largest being US Airways and Southwest.

Call “Transtyle” toll free at 1-800-410-5479 by personal cell phone or pay phone. When the dispatcher answers, let them know that you have arrived at the airport and require transportation.  Please inform them of the airline you have arrived on and that you are going to The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. Please expect a 10 - 20 minute wait.

For transportation from the resort to the airport, we recommend departing from the resort at least 2 hours prior to your flight departure time.

Shuttles
Shuttle vans and buses operated by off-airport companies are a popular and convenient transportation option. Follow the signs in baggage claim to the appropriate loading area.

Super Shuttle is based in the Sky Harbor airport baggage claim area.  The one way rate to Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is $14.00.  Check in at their desk for the shuttle.

Taxicab Service
Many companies provide taxicab service at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to outside curb.
 
The Rental Car Center
This facility, located at 1805 E. Sky Harbor Circle South, accommodates all airport rental car companies, their rental counters and vehicles. The facility is open 24 hours, seven days per week.
Upon arrival in Phoenix, please proceed to the airport curb at the baggage claim level. Look for the Rental Car Shuttle pick up area, which takes passengers to the center. All rental car counters are located in the Rental Car Center.

Rental car companies use a common, multi-colored “Rental Car Shuttle” bus. Individual rental car company buses are a thing of the past.

• Follow airport signs for 24th Street NORTH (but do not exit 24th Street NORTH).
• Take State Highway 51 NORTH; exit Cactus
• Follow Cactus past Cave Creek Rd. where the road will turn into Thunderbird.
• Follow Thunderbird/Cactus to 7th St., turn left.  The Resort is on your right. 
  

The resort is 15 miles from the airport and about 25 minutes drive time.
