We can easily develop web applications or direct access to the data, usually with Microsoft Access. As we move forward to an eventual Blackboard Transact Release 3 migration, this data repository for historical reports will be important.

John McGuthry is the Assistant to the President & Chief Information Officer at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU). Prior to joining AASU, he served as executive director and chief information officer at Reinhardt College, and as Principal Consultant at Telecordia Technologies and Director of Product Management at BellSouth.net.
Mr. McGuthry earned a bachelor's degree in physical science from the University of Maryland and a master of science in management of technology from Georgia Tech. He also has graduate training in the business of e-commerce from MIT, satellite communications from George Washington University, and accounting and finance from the University of Maryland.
At BbWorld Commerce, Mr. McGuthry will talk about managing expectations, end-user processes and his "3 Rules for Operating in a Technology Environment." Additionally, he will discuss Evil vs. Incompetence….and the differences between them.
